One Track, Any Story

A music video can be as simple as capturing a great performance beautifully, or as ambitious as a fully scripted story built around your track. We offer both — a multi-camera live session shot like the sessions you see on TV, or a narrative music video we help you plan from the very first idea through to the final cut.

  • Multi-camera live session capture, in a studio or location of your choice
  • Full narrative concept development, from first idea to shot list
  • Creative input on treatment, styling, locations and story
  • Broadcast-quality cinematography and lighting, either way

Choose Your Approach

Both are proper productions in their own right — pick the one that suits the track, or talk to us about a version of each.

Performance-Led
Live Session Capture

A multi-camera performance shot in a location or studio of your choice, in the style of the live sessions you see on TV. We rig in, capture the performance from multiple angles, and cut it together into something that plays like a proper broadcast session — no green screen, no gimmicks, just a great performance captured properly.

Concept-Led
Narrative Storytelling Edit

A fully planned music video with a story to tell. We help develop the concept from scratch — treatment, locations, styling and shot list — then bring it to life on filming day and cut it into a finished narrative video that matches the mood of your track.

Music Video FAQs

What's the difference between a live session and a narrative music video?

A live session is a multi-camera capture of you performing the track, shot in a location or studio of your choice — think of the sessions you see on TV. A narrative music video tells a story alongside the track, with a concept, locations and shots planned out in advance. Both are proper productions; it just depends on what the track calls for.

Can we film in our own studio or a specific location?

Yes — for a live session especially, we'll come to a studio or location of your choice and build the set-up around it. For a narrative video, location is usually part of the concept planning, and we're happy to help you find the right spot if you don't already have one in mind.

Do you help come up with the concept, or do we need our own treatment?

We're happy to do either. If you've already got a treatment or a clear idea, we'll work to it. If you don't, we'll help develop the concept from scratch — talking through the track, the mood, and what story or performance style fits it best.

How many cameras do you use for a live session?

It depends on the size of the performance and the space, but a typical session runs on multiple cameras covering wide, close and detail shots simultaneously, so the edit has proper coverage to cut between rather than relying on a single angle.

How long does a narrative music video take to plan and film?

It varies with the ambition of the concept — a simple narrative idea might come together in a couple of weeks from first call to filming day, while something more involved with multiple locations or cast needs longer to plan properly. We'll give you a realistic timeline once we know the concept.

Can you mix the live audio, or do we need our own recording?

For a live session we can capture and mix audio on the day, but for the best result we'd usually recommend cutting the video to your existing studio recording or master track, so the finished audio is as polished as the visuals.

What formats and aspect ratios do we get delivered?

We'll deliver the main edit in standard widescreen for YouTube and streaming platforms, and we can also cut vertical or square versions for Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms if you need them.

Do you travel outside the North East for music video shoots?

Yes. We're based in the North East of England but work with artists and productions across the UK, wherever the session or the story needs to happen.
